Up for grabs today: free high res (300 DPI) paper pattern pack for photoshop & gimp. Enclosed are seamless tiles for using as a web background texture or pattern in gimp. You will also find a .pat file for use in photoshop. I really like how these turned out!

Just go to places>Home folder>
Then hold down the control key and the H key to show hidden dot files.
Go to Gimp 2.6 (or highest versiuon number in the folder) open that and you will find the folders for brushes, patterns, plugins etc.

Btw, you can set nautilus (file manager) to display hidden files by default by going to the view menu and selecting "show hidden files".

If you have a Dropbox account you can put them in the public folder, then right click and copy public link. Or if you have Google Drive you can also share easily that way with a link that will never expire.
